I mainly bought this device to have a way to connect things from my android phone (oneplus 8 pro) and laptop (HP Envy) with out the hassle of multiple devices and such. The ability for it to read ssd and flash cards plus give me an extra screen was only scratching the surface. This is able to handle that plus so much more that I did not even realize. I love that i can use this to expand to multiple screens from either the phone or laptop. I can get a hard-line internet connection into my devices (i dont need this big ass dongle I was using). This is great for when i am limited because of traveling for work. I find the places i train never have any connections that i need. So far everything I have tried works well. I also have about 4 computers running at home and this will be a great help connecting to them and my tablets when i need them. Like a Swiss army knife of tech stuff.Something I have learned that may be an issue for you, the device doesn't work with my Fire tablet. I think it may be a glitch with the tablet though and not the device. Also I tried connecting it to an older android Pixel 3xl and found that it's display mirroring and mouse use weren't so friendly, it still charges the device but I don't use that phone anymore so I didn't really try to see if it was a setting thing. With my OnePlus 8 Pro it's very plug and play. I don't know if it would give me additional screens as it does with my laptop. I mainly bought it to have a mirror for my phone (kinda turn it into a computer device when needed, and it does that well). I easily connected a mouse and transferred files onto a flash from it.I am very excited to find that something is actually better than i thought it would. I am a smidge disappointed that I can't use it to transfer files to my fire tablet, although that actually was an afterthought and I was not expecting it when I bought the device. LOL I am so used to making do with a little less.Sorry if I rambled, I tried to sum up things I would want to see in a review when Im shopping on Amazon.Power delivery stopped working after 2 weeks of use. Monitors blink off for 5 seconds at a time seemingly randomly. Product works solidly otherwise.Works great so far with a couple of months use in. Hope this holds up; I needed this as a hub to power a few peripherals (portable screens) and had tried a few others before. The other ones were really finnicky and would lose power at the slightest bit of movement. This one is well built and delivers power much more reliably. Have had zero problems and am at this point extremely satisfied with this purchase. Price point seems decent as well for what youre getting compared to a few others out there.I am using this with a Windows 10 tablet that is Wi-Fi only and has only 1 USB connection. I use this docking station for its ethernet cable connection and the speed is comparable to Wi-Fi if as far as I can tell. If you are using this to add a second monitor, you will need to download the displaylink driver which was no problem installing. I installed the driver first then connected the docking station to the tablet. You then should restart the computer. The displaylink driver will show up in Device Manager under Display Adapters. There is a power button to turn the docking station on and then the power indicator lights up. The UOEOS letters on the side also light up.Had no issues until recently that it started to misbehave... now the USB ports doesn't work, the HDMI still works though.works great. got two older monitors without HDMI hooked up to a new laptop.happy.I purchased one of these for work and it came in with a broken AC adaptor. Returned and it was replaced with one that arrived undamaged. The docking station overall works well (reason for the 2 stars), but when I order another one for someone else at work, it too arrived with a broken AC adaptor. Do yourself a favor and look to something else.I bought this to connect 3 monitors to my laptop. (Not a Walmart laptop) it has worked previously with another docking station. Pretty disappointing.Works with 2 monitors on Pixelbook 3 (Chrome OS), Windows, and Ubuntu variant after running the shell script. Very rare to find one that works with Chrome OS.I am in the UK and it comes from Amazon Europe supplied with frankly flimsy European power adapter, that did not work. I had to fork out £12 for a UK one with 5.5x2.5mm port. The chrome OS I was looking for a while and this is one of the few that works with it. It comes with a USB-C to usb-3 adapterScelto questo prodotto, dal prezzo doppio rispetto agli altri perché prometteva Ethernet gigabit e hdmi 4K a 60Hz. Man merkt keinerlei Verzögerung - Filme laufen ruckelfrei.
