Primary goal was to allow two Mac laptops to share an external monitor. Each is plugged into one of the two USB-C "IN" ports, with the 3rd USB-C port plugged into a wall outlet.Switches seamlessly between the two, with the monitor showing the last setup used by each laptop as if it was only plugged into that one. Note: whichever laptop you have switched "on" is also the only one being powered by the switch, so that's something to keep an eye on.Drawbacks: the long, stiff USB-C cords are tough to wrangle on your desktop; I'd substitute with shorter, more flexible cords. And the placement of the switch isn't great; would be easier to reach on top of the box or on the side with the USB-C inputs.
